Does your law firm, litigation support bureau, or legal support services company employ project management standards or methodologies? If so, I would love to hear about it!
One of my on-going series of posts is on "Law Firm PM Watch" where I post about law firms who have implemented a project management program and/or have made efforts to apply PM methodologies at their firms. I like to invite representatives of the firm to explain their thoughts and experiences in their own words. For examples, see:
http://legalprojectmanagement.info/law-firms-who-get-it/
To date, my focus has been on law firms, but I also want to hear from corporate legal departments, litigation support bureaus, paralegal services companies, legal staffing companies, virtual law offices, and anyone else involved in providing legal or legal support services.
If you are willing, we can either do this in interview format, where I send you a number of questions or you can simply write about the role of project management at your organization, sharing any experiences, anecdotes, and thoughts you might have. Whatever format you are more comfortable with is fine with me.
Before publishing the post, I would give you and anyone responsible for PR at your organization an opportunity to read and approve or request changes to the post.
Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions you may have about the blog or about me.
There is a lot of development happening in legal project management that is not getting the attention it deserves. I hope my blog, with your help, can change this.

Hi Paul,
This is the first time I encounter a blog dedicated to Project Management in the legal field. I have published a series of articles on the subject: PMOs and Law Firms: Lessons Learned from the field.
I will hope you will write a lot on this subject, as it the current information on Legal Project Management is quite scarce.
I'm doing some work on legal project management -- in particular, the management of legal (not technology) work/cases/matters. See http://www.lexician.com/projman.htm.
Every legal case/matter is in effect a project. Attorneys wind up being project managers -- usually not terribly good project managers, because that's neither their background or interest. Good light-touch project management can help them be more efficient/effective in their work for clients and have more fun, too by allowing them to focus on the stuff they survived three years of law school for.
PM Hut and Steven, thank you for your comments and links. One of the benefits of running this blog is discovering new resources and learning more about how other lawyers and legal support providers are adopting project management principles to the provision of legal services.
Ron pointed me to this post. You might be interested in a briefing about our legal collaboration product, PBworks Legal Edition, which includes built-in Basecamp-style project management tools. Let me know if you want a demo/briefing.
Thanks. Assuming this grew out of the old Peanut Butter Wiki, I used to have an account with you. It has been a long time since I've checked it out and it looks like it's really grown. I'll definitely test it out again. Also, would you be interested in participating in an interview about the product to be published on this blog?
