As geographic certainties have changed and India starts to become one of the major economies in the world, its position as the offshore destination of choice is being challenged. India will not lose that position easily, but there is lot to do and some of the complacency is ill-placed. The presentation looks at the strengths and the weaknesses of India, considers the hidden costs of working with India and Indian companies, the hidden benefits, looks at the attractions of India as a destination market.
Presenter Paul Davies is a published author and runs a consultancy, Onshore Offshore Ltd, initially focused on India, that advises European clients on how to offshore IT development and IT Enabled Services and Indian clients on how to penetrate the European and UK market. His first book, What's this India Business? Paul also wrote New Business in India.
